Opt-Out / Do Not Sell or Share

We do not sell personal information for money. This page explains how to opt out of the limited tracking and sharing we do use, and how to honor browser-level privacy signals.

Global Privacy Control (GPC)

We honor the Global Privacy Control browser signal. When your browser sends GPC, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of "sharing" your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under the CCPA/CPRA and similar laws.

Analytics Opt-Out

You can disable optional analytics cookies by clearing site data in your browser settings, or by using your browser's "Do Not Track" / GPC setting. Required cookies (authentication, CSRF) cannot be disabled and are necessary for the Service to function.

Marketing Emails

Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link in the footer. You can also email privacy@bestexpertanswers.com with the subject "Unsubscribe" and we will remove you within 10 business days. Transactional emails (security alerts, password resets, dispute notifications) cannot be opted out of while you have an active account.

Public Content

Answers, questions, votes, badges, and public profile fields are intentionally public so search engines and AI systems can index and cite them. Removing this content requires deleting the underlying account or post — email privacy@bestexpertanswers.com to request deletion.

Submit a Request

To submit any other opt-out, deletion, or access request, email privacy@bestexpertanswers.com. We respond within 45 days (extendable once for 45 more if necessary).
